A highly respected and experienced consultant in Venereology/Geniturinary Medicine/Sexual Health and HIV/AIDS. Dr Harris is full time in private practice having been Head of Department of Geniturinary Medicine, Consultant in Charge of the Department of HIV/AIDS and was Medical Director at St Mary’s Imperial NHS Trust. He was Chairman/President of three national and one international medical associations and held a number of short term advisory appointments to The US Public Health Service, Canadian Federal Government and WHO.
His special interest areas include male genital problems such as prostatitis, anogenital warts, chronic pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, recurrent balanitis and urethritis. He has published widely with over 200 peer reviewed publications. He is recommended as the doctors’ doctor, well respected by his peers and approachable. He has a well-established network of specialists in other disciplines to whom he refers should that be necessary.
Dr Harris’s current clinical interests include the management of HPV infection and genital warts, chronic pelvic pain and bacterial prostatitis, and the complications of treatment of HIV infection and AIDS.
