Dr Jackie Doyle completed her PhD in 1997, based on research with children and adolescents, with a particular focus on eating disorders. Since qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist in 2002, Jackie has worked with clients presenting a range of medical problems often associated with anxiety, depression, fatigue and pain. Jackie brings additional expertise to the area of sexual difficulties in women and men. She is committed to providing consultation for individuals and couples or families where appropriate. |
Dr Lih-Mei Liao is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Chartered Health Psychologist, having gained her BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in Psychology in London. She consults to patients and families affected by a range of medical problems, especially as they face complex decisions. She has a strong track record in collaborative research and is co-/author to over sixty publications on topics relating to reproductive, sexual and metabolic health. Dr Liao has a strong commitment to teach, train and consult to health professionals and user groups and does so regularly in the UK and abroad. |
Dr Dominic O’Ryan completed his professional doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2000. In addition, he has an MSc in Health Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy. Dominic brings additional expertise in motivational approaches and, more recently, has undergone training in mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. Dominic is highly experienced in work with people with multiple and complex needs including problems of substance misuse. He has also worked in the fields of chronic pain and hearing impairment. |
Dr David Scott qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in New Zealand in 1995 and completed his PhD in the same year. As well as his broad-based clinical experience in New Zealand and the UK, David has highly developed knowledge and skills in pain management, audiological rehabilitation, and cardiac respiratory medicine. He has been providing training, supervision and consultation to health professionals. He has co-authored book chapters on a range of topics including sleep and hearing loss. |
