Occasionally admission to hospital is required for a programme of tests or for certain tests such as Lumbar puncture. Hospital admission is also sometimes required for more severe conditions such as stroke or for a programme of neuro-rehabilitation following stroke or severe head injury.
Where required, hospital admission may be arranged to local hospitals including the nearby National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen Square, one of the largest Neuroscience centres in the world.
