Dermatology services at London Medical include diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair and nail diseases as well as skin cancer.
Our specialist dermatologist is Dr Sunil Chopra who is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists is fully accredited and is on the British Specialist Register of the General Medical Council.
His National Health Service is at the King George Hospital and he is also Honorary Clinical Consultant at Bart’s & The London Hospital. He also runs an active research group which actively researches skin cancer and it’s treatment. Dr Chopra, at the moment, has invented an anti-cancer drug which has shown great promise. Dr Chopra did two years full time research studying the blood and nerve supply of skin and he has written three major international postgraduate texts. Facial pigmentation, acne scarring and is an expert at treating the signs of ageing.
Dr Chopra trained at University College London as an undergraduate and did his medical training at University College London and Chase Farms Hospital. He also did one year training in chest medicine at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. Dr Chopra then spent two years doing full time research as well as two years at University College London and two years at Hammersmith & Ealing Hospitals as well as one year at Bart’s & The London Hospital.
Dr Chopra specialises in facial rejuvenation, dermal filers, chemical peels and treatments with intense pulsed light, and lasers.
