Dr. Isaacs is a Consultant Endocrinologist Emeritus. He has had broad interests in endocrinology including the investigation and treatment of thyroid disease, reproductive and weight disorders, osteoporosis and the menopause.
Dr. Isaacs has published a number of original research papers and has been awarded research grants from the King’s Fund PACE (Promoting Action on Clinical Effectiveness) and from the NHS R&D Health Technology Assessment Programme. He is Associate Professor at the School of Health of Middlesex University, a member of the Society for Endocrinology, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and Honorary Secretary of its Endocrinology and Diabetes Section.
