Laser Hair Removal service launched at London Medical

London Medical has launched a full laser hair removal service using the latest technology Apogee Elite Alexandrite and YAG laser from Cynosure.
Laser treatment provides effective long term relief from unwanted hair. The procedure is non-invasive. Treatment sessions are brief and relatively painless as compared to other hair removal methods.
London Medical provides a personalised service and a tailor made package following an initial consultation and test patch with a qualified nurse. A thorough medical questionnaire is completed and discussed and skin type and hair growth analysed before the nurse is satisfied that the client will benefit from the treatment. Pre-treatment photographs are also taken of the area to be lasered in order to accurately monitor progress.
This service compliments the Endocrinology department at London Medical and when deemed necessary, referrals to endocrinologists can be made. If there is a hormone imbalance causing excessive hair growth, then tablet treatment can be combined with laser hair removal for better results.
