Practical Insulin Pump Demonstration Sessions at London Medical
London Medical is giving insulin users the chance to learn about new pump technology at one of its Practical Insulin Pump Demonstration Sessions during the summer.
The free sessions are an opportunity to ask questions, share your thoughts with other people who use insulin and even organise to trial one of the new pumps. You don’t need to book onto a session – just turn up!
There are four sessions, each focusing on a different type of pump:
Session One – Tuesday, 7th July 15:00 – 17:30hrs
Medtronic’s new Paradigm Veo System – the world’s first continuous glucose monitoring insulin pump with automatic low glucose insulin suspend mechanism. Come along and find out how this advanced pump could improve your daily life.
Session Two – Friday, 10th July 13:00 – 15:30hrs
Roche’s new Accu-Chek Combo System – this is the UK’s first true remote control pump. It allows you to store all your data in one device so there’s less to carry around.
